Client Role – Senior Social Media Manager

As part of our clients a small team, you’ll get your chance to shine, they are looking to grow the team into more senior roles so promotions and international opportunities come to those who work hard, hit targets, show commitment and dedication to the company and their clients.

Your main responsibilities will be to work as part of the team managing the social media presences of some incredible brands within the food, drink and B2C sectors. You’ll be thinking up and delivering innovative social media campaigns and content, working creatively and strategically, and following the direction of each client’s brand communications and social strategy.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Social to bolster their offering and upskill the junior team and any new recruits within the department.

You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple social accounts across multiple platforms for multiple clients, each with their own individual content style, KPIs, tone of voice and deliverables. this means organisation of your own time is essential, as is a high attention to detail including spelling and grammar.

You’ll be working mainly on social media content creation, social media advertising, content copywriting, publishing content, reporting, campaign creation, design and photography briefing and community management, but should be comfortable working both online and offline.

You should be full of ideas and be able to communicate your vision to others as well as working from briefs and under the creative direction of the clients and the creative team.

You should be communicator, with strong attention to spelling and grammar, and a creative person with a love of bringing ideas to life. We’re looking for an individual with ambition, a get-up-and-go attitude and a working knowledge of social media. You should have endless creativity, obsessive attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and to deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the devising and managing integrated consumer marketing campaigns for food and drink brands
  • Developing campaigns (social first but encompass both online and offline media), strategy and creative content plans to meet each client’s strategic goals and KPIs
  • Ability to own and manage your client accounts from start to finish
  • Leading face to face client meetings and communicating your plans, ideas and results
  • Developing campaigns, strategy and creative content plans to meet each client’s goals and KPIs
  • Managing social media accounts for multiple clients (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and blogs)
  • Planning out monthly social media activity and content calendars
  • Working collaboratively and briefing the design and content teams
  • Reporting to clients on their social media, marketing and campaign activity, and feeding back analysis and improvements
  • Setting up and running social advertising
  • Community management and scheduling
  • Overseeing client budgets and costing and managing them effectively
  • Being part of new business development and pitches
  • Planning for and assisting on photoshoots
  • Developing offline marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Development and execution of influencer campaigns
  • Working on and developing social media strategies
