We’re on the lookout for a Performance Marketing Analyst to join our clients growing in house marketing team.

As a Performance Marketing Analyst, your role centres on producing accurate, reliable and insight-led analysis that strengthens our clients paid search performance across the UK and USA websites. You will work with complex datasets, monitor trends with precision, and provide clear reporting that helps the team make informed decisions. Your work will help ensure our clients investment is measured, accountable, and consistently optimised through evidence.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, monitoring and refining paid search activity through data-driven analysis
  • Ensuring spend accuracy and tracking integrity across all campaigns
  • Producing regular performance reporting across both UK and USA markets
  • Working with acquisition, ecommerce and content teams to ensure data is consistent and reliable across all touchpoints
  • Identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities that can improve efficiency and return

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support the structure and optimisation of paid search activity that aligns with our clients product strategy
  • Conduct precise keyword research and review ad copy performance using clear performance evidence
  • Work with the digital team to ensure landing pages are performing as expected and highlight any issues that affect conversion
  • Analyse campaign data through platforms such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio, ensuring accuracy before insight is shared
  • Run controlled A/B tests, documenting outcomes clearly so decisions are grounded in fact
  • Track platform updates, competitor shifts and performance signals that may influence results
  • Provide clear, timely reporting and insight to stakeholders, ensuring recommendations are supported by sound data
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure performance data is aligned, up to date and fully understood
  • Any other duties reasonably expected for the role

The characteristics of success:

Performance depends on individuals who are analytical, commercially minded, and able to think strategically while delivering with precision. In addition to a strong grasp of digital marketing, the following characteristics are essential for this role:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately with data in Excel — you don’t need years of experience, but you must be comfortable using formulas, pivot tables and logical reasoning to solve problems
  • An understanding of PPC metrics, tracking accuracy and optimisation methods
  • Confidence using PowerBI, Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar tools to validate and interpret data
  • Experience working within an ecommerce setting
  • Ability to work across multiple markets, maintaining consistent standards of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate data into clear, actionable points

Desirable:

  • Experience managing or analysing paid search activity in Google Ads
  • Experience working within the travel sector
  • Familiarity with feed management or tools such as SA360
  • Understanding of how PPC fits within a broader acquisition strategy
  • Experience managing agency relationships or supporting international websites

If you enjoy working with data, have a passion for accuracy, and can use insight to improve performance, we’d be keen to speak with you.
