We’re super excited to announce two new team members to the Modo25 team! They are, Rosie Beeston, Data Scientist and Luke McDermott, Head of CRO.
To get to know them a bit better, we sat down and put a few questions to them. Here’s what they had to say…
Who are you and what is your role here at Modo25?
Rosie: “I’m Rosie and I’m a Data Scientist.”
Luke: “I’m Luke & I’m the new Head of CRO here at Modo25 & Bosco.”
What interested you in working for Modo25 in the first place?
Rosie: “The forward-thinking attitude of the company and how passionate the team were about their work.”
Luke: “The key reason I was interested in working at Modo25 was the opportunity to further improve the offering to our clients through CRO via BOSCO™. I also think that linking trend across a/b testing and delivering those back to clients will be hugely beneficial. Plus, the team are amazing!”
Where did you work before joining the Modo25 team?
Rosie: “I worked in public transport predicting demand for trains.”
Luke: “Prior to being here, I was working in the CRO team at an agency for two and a half years. Before that, I was working at smaller agency over in Manchester doing the same thing.”
How is working for Modo25 different from your previous jobs?
Rosie: “The 4-day week is a pretty big (and nice) difference!”
Luke: “There are two main reasons. The first is the transparency with clients and colleagues. I think this is the most important thing in our industry, putting agendas aside and delivering the maximum value for everyone. Secondly, the culture within the team is really refreshing.”
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Rosie: “I love to paint and go on long walks with my dog.”
Luke: “In my free time I play golf, badly. I’ve also got a 14-week-old black Labrador, so, he’s keeping me occupied most of the time at the minute. I also support Leeds United and try to get to as many games as I can now the stadium is back open.”
How would you explain your job to a 10-year-old?
Rosie: “Hmm… I think I would say that I help businesses to decide how many advertisements they want to make and where.”
Luke: “Easy one, I get really annoyed that websites don’t work and then go about fixing them for everyone.”
