As part of our latest recruitment drive, we welcomed Jo Hardcastle to the Modo25 and BOSCO™ team. Jo is our Business Development Manager and will be leading our new sales team. We asked Jo a few questions to get to know her better, here’s what she had to say…

What made you want to become part of the Modo25/BOSCO™ family?
The expertise and credibility of both the Modo25 and BOSCO™ team played a big part in why I was keen to join the company. I was also excited at the opportunity to be part of a dynamic business in its infancy and to contribute to its growth. Plus, the culture of the business was a great fit for a full-time working mum! I can’t wait to get stuck into things as the Business Development Manager here.
What is your background in terms of digital marketing?
I actually come from a non-digital background but have around 12 years of sales experience across a number of industries. So, I’m looking forward to diving into the world of digital marketing and bringing my skills to the table.
How is Modo25 different to places you’ve worked with before?
As far as working in a sales capacity, Modo25 are really geared to supporting the team. They are providing all the tools to allow me to work smarter and use my time more efficiently, which has been really welcomed! From a work/life balance perspective, I’ve definitely never worked to a full-time salary with a 4-day week. This gives me so much flexibility as a full-time working mum and is something I’ve never had at previous companies.
What are you looking forward to in terms of your future at Modo25 & BOSCO™?
I’m really looking forward to using both my tech and people skills to help our clients achieve their goals. I’m excited to watch BOSCO™ evolve over the next six months as a product and to be part of the company’s growth in America. It’s also great to be joining at such a pivotal moment for both businesses and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
How would you describe your job to a 10-year-old?
I help companies make money while simultaneously getting them to work smarter.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’ll take any opportunity to have a night off from being mum and go to a club night (anything tech or house focused). To counteract that, I also enjoy running (usually away from the kids) and I’ll take part in local 10k’s, obstacle races and I’m doing my first half marathon this year.
Decision time: tea or coffee?
Coffee (I can only drink tea with a biscuit and I’m trying to curb that!)
