The doors to Modo25 actually opened on 2nd September this year, so by the time we got to November we thought it was time to plan a celebratory event to acknowledge our launch – even though it was definitely not labelled an official launch event!
We gathered in Smiths of Smithfield in Farringdon earlier this month and invited friends, partners, former colleagues and clients old and new to help celebrate Modo25 and to sound out if they thought what we were doing was interesting and relevant… and they all said it was!
We are doing things differently – we want to turn the world of digital marketing inside out by empowering our teams, clients and inhouse teams alike to take control of their marketing. This message is really resonating with the prospective clients that we’re talking to and we’re pleased that we’re already working with a handful of clients to help them make the next step in their digital marketing journey.
We’ve set out to be a fantastic place to work – John, Mike and I have all (extensive) experience of working in agencies and so, with this clean slate, we want to be the very best that we can be – not least because we think that’s the best way to get the optimum performance from people. So, we’re all working a four day week and enjoying a three day weekend, we’ve got excellent benefits (which we are going to keep adding to) and we are working really hard to make a running start.
