Where to spend your digital marketing budget for the best results in 2022

Our CEO and founder, John Readman, recently featured on the eCom@One Podcast with Richard Hill to discuss Modo25 and our AI powered software BOSCO™, to answer the question, ‘where to spend your digital marketing budget for the best results in 2022’.

Richard Hill, CEO of eComOne, interviews guests from a wide range of eCommerce-related industries and is all about raw, honest and unfiltered conversations.

Richard speaks to store owners, digital marketers, and those on the frontline of online retailing, including our CEO, John.

Looking forward to 2022, John spoke about which marketing channels are worth investing your time and money into and what he thinks will get you the best return in the new year. Richard and John discussed the one big strategy most businesses avoid but has proven to be hugely successful and is set to carry on growing.

“I think one of the things that is happening, Richard, is that people have gotten obsessed with this instant hit of performance, right? Pay a pound, get ten pounds.”

John continued: “So, we are all fighting over the bottom end of that funnel, and it’s a bit like everyone’s got on the Atkins diet, and actually, what we need to do is change our lifestyle and go to the gym. So, PPC is a bit like the Atkins diet, and SEO is like changing your lifestyle and going to the gym – a bit more commitment is needed.”
