The challenge

Herring Shoes have been selling luxury footwear in the UK & europe since 1966. They approached Modo25 with the brief of improving the quality of their affiliates programme by removing transparent publishers from their network. They additionally wanted to expand the publisher mix and introduce affiliates into the upper funnel.

The Solution

From month 1, the affiliates team got to work, auditing the current profile of networks, and analysing which highlighted an over reliance on voucher websites. Subsequently, Modo25 worked to remove some of the partners from the website, leading to a 28 year-on-year reduction. At the same time, this work helped to improve CSS revenue contribution by +111% over the same period.

At the same time, the team helped broker and negotiate deals with several well known affiliates such as the MVC group, Genie Shopping and worked closed with them through CPAi opportunities. This helped to deliver incremental value over time.
